East Texas Honey from theHoneyGuy is pure, raw, unfiltered and unprocessed honey. 

East Texas Wild Flower Honey:  Beginning the first of Spring and continuing through Summer and Fall, our honey bees work to pollinate the myriad varities of wild flowers here in East Texas. The resulting honey produced from the pollen of these flowers is delicious in flavor and rich in a variety of pollens.  Honey GuyÒ East Texas Wild Flower Honey is the best anti-allergy honey available - even if you do not live in East Texas!  The latest research has revealed that local honey is not neccessarily the best source of honey for the prevention of allergies.  Often, local honey is a one-pollen honey produced by honey bees that were placed on a specific crop to pollenate.  It is far better to eat a honey that has many different pollens in it - and Honey GuyÒ East Texas Wild Flower honey is exactly what the doctor ordered!   Our honey comes to your table straight from the hive!  No heating or heavy straining so you know you are getting all the pollen, antioxidants, enzymes and minerals that are present in unprocessed honey.  It is available in the following variety of sizes and prices:

 Due to two years of draught, followed by too much rain, we are still experiencing a shortage of East Texas Wildflower Honey.  We are now supplementing our East Texas wildflower honey with wildflower honey from Louisiana, a few miles to our East.  RAW WILDFLOWER HONEY IS GREAT FOR ALLERGIES - EVEN IF YOU LIVE FAR FROM EAST TEXAS & WESTERN LOUISANA!!  MANY POLLENS ARE SIMILAR AND OUR WILDFLOWER HONEY CONTAINS MANY DIFFERENT POLLENS - CHANCES ARE IT WILL HELP YOU!!

ALLERGY DOCTORS RECOMMEND 1 TEASPOON OF HONEY PER DAY.

DOCTORS RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT FEED HONEY TO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 1 YEAR. Their theory is that Botulism could occur in honey and young immune systems are not developed enough to fight Botulism.  That said, there is little evidence that Botulism can even exist in raw honey.  Raw Honey is highly antibiotic and antiseptic in and of itself and Veterinarians often use it to treat and to prevent infections in wounds to animals. We do not recommend that anyone disregard Doctors warnings, but thought you might want to know the facts.

Local honey is better for you.

FALSE!!

The latest research indicates that honey which cantains multiple pollens is better for your allergies - even if it is NOT local honey.  Often, local honey is from a one-pollen source (clover, fruit trees, cotton, etc) and may not help your allergies at all.  Honey containing multiple pollens is better able to help your body build immunity to allergies.  Wildflower honey is best - wherever it comes from - because of the many floral sources the bees use to make it. Also, darker honey generally has MORE pollen content than light honey. Always be sure to buy RAW, unprocessed honey which has not been subjected to heat over 140°f.  Pasturizing or heating honey above 140°f destroys the pollens, enzymes and nutrients which are so beneficial to the human body.

If you do not need the allergy benifits of honey, then ANY RAW honey is an excellent, healthy food choice.

Survivalists know that a supply of water, baking flour and raw honey can keep the body functioning indefinitely because honey contains so many essential nutrients.
